This pair of brown sneakers by Polo Ralph Lauren is the latest addition to my shoe racks, and for good reasons. Officially called Polo Ralph Lauren Giles sneakers they are casual and stylish and comfortable to wear. After I tried them on I immediately decided to get them. The price isn't impressively low but still within reason.

These casual shoes have a nice mix of brown and brownish yellow colors. The shoelace, the welt, and the middle section of the upper are all covered in light brown while the rest of the shoes is in dark brown. The shoelace eyelets are reinforced with metal rings which is a big plus. There's the Polo's signature logo on the outer side of the shoes in green. These shoes are very well-built and the sturdy leather uppers provide plenty of comfort.

I put on my Abercrombie & Fitch white moose t-shirt and dark blue jeans and was delighted by how well they matched with these shoes. Going for light colored upper body and dark colored lower body worked out great. But that's not to say the other way around wouldn't work since these shoes are flexible enough in terms of fashion. There really isn't a set guideline on what to wear in relation to the shoes and this flexibility is also a big reason why I bought them.

Every occasion calls for a perfect footwear. Its importance cannot be emphasized enough. When I was younger, I used to wear sports shoes all the time since they are comfortable, all-purpose, and very cool looking or so I thought. I've come to realize that I've relied on them for too long. Some are still good for matching certain outfits, but I wanted to try something different, something more mature looking perhaps, so I was always on the lookout for shoes of all types that interest me.
